The sustained support and involvement of the community in our campaign against all forms of criminality and the continuous cooperation and assistance extended by the City Government had facilitated the active implementation of the plans and programs of the PNP, thereby DCPS has continuously maintained its standard as a premiere law enforcement unit of the PNP in providing better public service and the attainment of a more peaceful and orderly city.

In line with the implementation of our ongoing programs, projects and security measures being undertaken, Dagupan City is considered generally peaceful with the full support of the LGU under the leadership of Mayor Alipio F Fernandez, Jr., the different organizations and the community as a whole in the maintenance of peace and order in the city.

The implementation of Police Beat Patrol System as part of Police Visibility Operation has brought positive impact to the community and business sector in AOR. The PBS, which consists of eleven (11) sectors comprising five (5) barangays of the City has largely contributed to the eradication of high profile crimes which were commonly committed within the key economic zones / business district.

On the other hand, the city is still considered as white area for the local insurgents. DCPS is always very vigilant to any threat groups that may affect public safety and security in the city.
